📏 Sizes & Materials

• Usually available in sizes from ~20 mm to 110 mm (or larger) to suit various pipe diameters.

• Made of PVC or HDPE plastic, sometimes with UV-stabilized bodies for outdoor use.

• Ball valve / ball cork fittings: These are shut-off valves in plastic form used in piping systems to start or stop the flow of water or other fluids. The internal ball has a hole through it; when aligned with the pipe it lets fluid pass, and when turned 90° it stops flow.

• They’re lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and cheaper than metal valves — great for irrigation, plumbing, rainwater systems, garden watering, or domestic water supply.
