Ding Dong Door Bell

A Ding Dong Doorbell is a wired electrical door chime unit that makes the classic “ding-dong” sound when a visitor presses the button at your entrance. It’s one of the most common types of home or office wired doorbells in Kenya and around the world. Its name comes from the two-tone “ding” then “dong” sound it produces — a traditional chime everyone instantly recognise

Wired Setup: It’s connected to your home’s mains or a low-voltage transformer, and pushes sound through a speaker/mechanical chime when the button is pressed.
• Sound: Usually the classic two-note ding-dong melodic chime (some models also let you choose tones/volume).
• Installation: Wall-mounted near the entrance inside your house/office, connected to a doorbell push button mounted at the door.
• Power:  run on AC mains (220-240 V), though some use a transformer (e.g., 8–16 V) or even battery-assisted setups
