The Double Pattress Box, also known as a 2-gang surface mounting box, is a durable plastic enclosure designed to house and support double (2-gang) electrical sockets, switches, or outlets in surface wiring installations. It provides a clean, secure mounting point where recessed wall boxes are not feasible—especially in solid walls, concrete surfaces, or temporary installations.
