Gas pipe 50 meters

A 50 m gas pipe refers to a continuous length (coil/roll) of pipe/tubing designed for the distribution of gaseous fuels (natural gas, LPG) in residential, commercial or service-runs. The “50 metre” length means you get a single roll long enough to reduce joints and thus reduce potential leak points

 Features

Materials and Construction

  • Medium‐Density Polyethylene (MDPE) yellow pipe for underground/outdoor gas supply. Example: 32 mm × 50 m yellow MDPE coil.

  • Flexible corrugated stainless-steel tubing (CSST) with yellow outer cover for indoor/outdoor use. Example: 15 mm × 50 m stainless steel flexible gas pipe.

  • Single-layer PE100 high-density polyethylene pipe (for larger diameter runs) in 50-m roll.

Dimensions / Diameter

  • Easy example: 25 mm outside diameter × 50 m coil in MDPE.

  • Another: 32 mm outside diameter × 50 m coil.

  • Many products list diameter & length as “<size> × 50m”.

  • The “50 m” length is a key point:

Performance / Ratings

  • Example: 32 mm × 50 m yellow MDPE pipe, max. pressure rating ~5.5 bar at 0-20 °C.

  • Standards: Many are Kitemark/BSI certified for gas use.

  • Materials: MDPE offers corrosion resistance, ease for long continuous runs.

Installation Advantages

  • Longer roll length (50 m) means fewer joints/fittings → less leak risk.

  • Flexible materials allow easier routing through walls/underground.

  • Yellow colour/coating often used to identify “gas” service lines (for safety).
