HG Connector Fuse Double Cutout

A HG Connector Fuse Double Cutout is an electrical protection device used in mains wiring — essentially a double-fuse cutout unit that lets you install and hold two fuses (one for each phase or conductor) in a compact connector housing, providing overload and fault protection for incoming power circuits before distribution into a building or panel

Key Features

• Two fuse holders in a single unit (double cutout) — so you can protect two conductors.

• Connector style body that mounts in an electrical box or panel.

• Designed for standard house or small commercial mains circuits (often around 80 A–100 A rating depending on model).

• Provides a mechanical and electrical disconnect — if a fuse blows, the circuit is opened to protect wiring and equipment.

Typical Use Cases

🔹 Incoming mains protection in a house or small commercial unit — protects against overloads or short circuits before power enters the distribution board.
🔹 Service entry point fuse just after the supply cable comes into the building.
🔹 When you want replaceable fuses rather than fixed breakers in older or simple installations
