Iconix SubWoofer

The Iconix SubWoofer speaker is a model of subwoofer designed to enhance the low-frequency sound reproduction in audio systems. Here’s some information about the AMPEX AX525 subwoofer speaker:

Power Output: The subwoofer speaker has a power rating of 8000 watts, which indicates its maximum power handling capability. This power output determines the speaker’s ability to handle high-volume and low-frequency sounds without distortion.

Frequency Response: The frequency response of the subwoofer refers to the range of frequencies it can accurately reproduce.

Cabinet Design: The Iconix SubWoofer speaker is housed in a specific type of cabinet designed to optimize the low-frequency response and minimize resonance. The cabinet features a ported design or a sealed enclosure, depending on the specific model and desired sound characteristics.

Driver Size: The driver refers to the speaker cone responsible for producing sound. The Iconix SubWoofer

features a driver of a specific size, such as 10 inches, 12 inches, or larger. The size of the driver affects the overall output and bass response of the subwoofer.

Impedance: The impedance of the subwoofer speaker is its electrical resistance to the amplifier’s output. It is typically measured in ohms (Ω). The Iconix SubWoofer may have a specific impedance rating, such as 4 ohms or 8 ohms. It’s important to match the impedance of the subwoofer to the amplifier or audio system for optimal performance.

Connectivity: The subwoofer speaker features various connectivity options, such as speaker wire inputs or RCA inputs. These connections allow you to integrate the subwoofer with your existing audio system or amplifier.

Installation and Placement: Proper installation and placement of the subwoofer are crucial for optimal sound reproduction. Subwoofers are usually placed on the floor or in dedicated subwoofer positions within a home theater or audio setup to enhance low-frequency impact.
