• Fit matters: Because the height is about 3.0 mm, fitting a battery that is thicker (e.g., CR2450 which is 5.0 mm high) may not physically fit the device or may prevent correct contact. (Indeed one user pointed out: “> no. 2430 means 24 mm width, 3 mm height. 2450 is thicker and won’t fit.”)

• Correct chemistry & model: Ensure you match the “2430” size and the correct variant. For example if your device requires a CR2430 but you use a different height or chemistry variant you might run into fit issues or lower performance.

• Non-rechargeable: This is a primary (single-use) lithium coin cell, not a rechargeable cell.
