How They Work / Control Features

They use PIR (Passive Infrared) detection: senses changes in heat (infrared) when a warm body moves in the detection zone.
Many have a built‑in photocell so you can set them to only trigger when it’s dark (or below a certain ambient light), to avoid having lights switching on in bright daylight.
You can adjust how long the light stays on after detection (the “delay” or “time” control).
You can adjust how sensitive or how far the detection distance is (some models have a “SENS” knob).
